The SPEEDIER Service will bring together a number of facets of the energy efficiency (EE) agenda to be delivered to the SME under the supervision of the SPEEDIER Expert. Other project deliverables that are relevant to the SPEEDIER Service include D4.2 (SPEEDIER Tool), D4.8 (Mobile App.) and the D4.7 (Financing Models). Please refer to these deliverables if further information is required on these particular facets of the Service.  In this Deliverable, the focus is on training for decision makers and the general staff within SMEs. The role of the SPEEDIER Expert is key to the coordinated delivery of the most appropriate interactions with the SMEs who, as has been said before, generally would not put energy efficiency at the top of their list of business priorities.

In order to strengthen the take-up of the SPEEDIER Service, training content topics have been chosen that will assist the Expert & SME at 5 key stages in the Energy Efficiency journey:

1.       SPEEDIER Service & Energy Management

2.       Ring Fencing Mechanism, Behavioural Change & SPEEDIER App

3.       The Energy Pyramid (Energy Conservation, Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy)

4.       National Funding Options, Risk Management, Register of Opportunities and Verifications

5.       SMEngineering: Energy Conversation Measures

The training for SME management is contained in all 5 ‘modules’ and the general staff training is contained within the first 2 ‘modules’ to help the Energy Expert deliver the Service as defined in D4.1.

Social farming refers to the therapeutic use of farming landscapes and practices on part or all of a working farm in order to provide health, social, educational and/or vocational supports to a small number of people at risk of social exclusion.

The FACURA project aims at equipping stakeholders (farmers, social farming representative bodies, social and health care providers, farming representative bodies) with the necessary knowledge, skill-sets and competencies to develop and enhance social farming.  

Gender equality and economic integration of ethnic minorities are transversal and cross-borders challenges identified as priorities by the public authorities of all participating countries. Subsequently, in order to efficiently and effectively address these complexes issues, the actions in the field should be carried out through a multi-disciplinary and comparative approach via transnational collaborative projects.

A social enterprise is an operator in the social economy whose main objective is to have a social impact rather than make a profit for their owners or shareholders. It operates by providing goods and services for the market in an entrepreneurial and innovative fashion and uses its profits primarily to achieve social objectives.

The importance of social enterprises in tackling social challenges and fostering inclusive growth has been increasingly recognised in recent years across the European Union (EU) . It is the positive impact of SEs on society, the environment and communities which can contribute to implementing the Europe 2020 Strategy and the aim of the Single Market Act for a ‘highly competitive social market economy’.
Nowadays gender inequality continues to be a significant issue worldwide.

LU2 - BIM and NZEB for Workers will inform you of the BIM methodology used during NZEB project design and construction, enabling the process to be speeded up, Collaborative communication using BIM and other digital tools on site between the design team and the construction team is essential.will be discussed and activities completed. Knowledge of NZEB will help you recognise the parameters which you should pay more attention to and execute effectively whilst on site. 

This learning is specifically aimed at construction workers/trades (EQF 4-5) but is equally relevant to site managers/supervisors and professionals

The following learning unit is aimed at the creation of BIM objects suitable for nZEB design and their correct use within the BIM model. Therefore, principles and parameters affecting building envelope and air tightness, quality controls to guarantee nZEB values as well as best practices will be studied. All this with an active and innovative methodology, thanks to the digital tools that provide greater ease in the application of solutions in the design.
